What Is Worry?

And Why Do We Worry?

Worry is fear.  Fear is the lack of faith.  Lack of faith comes from losing our connection to the Truth about ourselves.

What is this Truth about ourselves?  We are a part of God - the One.  The Source of all that is.  The creator of all that is, was, or ever will be.

Because we are created by this one Source, we are co-creators.  As God - Infinite Intelligence, or whatever you may call the One - creates in the Universe by thought, so too we create in our lives by our thoughts.

Or rather, God creates through us.  The key to ending worry is knowing we are connected to the one Source.  Through this connection to the One, we can change anything in our lives and we can resolve all problems that we face by changing our thoughts.

A simple yet effective mantra for removing the terrible burdens that may lay upon us:

"It is THROUGH me, not ON me."

This one change of attitude brings immediate relief.

Let's explore how and why.

How To Change Your Life

We exist because the Spirit wishes to express Itself through us.  Our desires for self-expression are impulses from the Spirit.  So long as our desires harm no one or no thing; so long as it is in alignment with the Spirit, we can have anything we desire.

When we feel there is something missing in our lives, perhaps it's missing because we think it's missing.  There is no light and darkness.  There is only light and the absence of light.

We should not  think "I'm lacking so-and-so".  We should think only of  the desire as an already "being". It's "being" is unfolding from the Not Here to the Now Here.

Our experience comes into existence because we  thought it and believed it.  Change the thought  "I want it but I don't have it and I can't have it because ____________" to  the thought "I desire it therefore it now exists and is taking form now in it's natural unfoldment."

Believe it, know it, then act as though it were true.

"Change comes from within."

Meditation: All Is Well

Meditation for living in the present moment

Today's Meditation

As I walked out this morning to feed the animals, just as the sun was beginning to show, I heard a hummingbird from the red bottle brush blooms.  Off in the distance, a mocking jay trilled.

To push out the negative thoughts so entrenched in my mind, I focused on the symphony and light show life was offering me.

The Humming Bird hums to me;
The Song Bird sings to me;
The Sun Beam shines on me;
All is well.

Sometimes a meditation is just being aware of the present moment and all the gifts it contains.  That's why they call it "the present":  The present is the only thing that is;  the past is in memory; the future is a dream. Only the present is real. So, I focus on the present and feel gratitude for all that I have.

How To Begin? At The Beginning

The journey to enlightenment begins where it ends.  From within.  We all look to far away for heaven.  It's all so simple as to be disregarded.

In The Beginning...

...there was nothing "and the earth was without form and void".  There was only Intelligence. Intelligence (God, First Cause) wishing to be expressed, spoke (the Word) and form was created.  Since there was nothing, It created everything that is from itself.  So Intelligence contains everything within Itself: consciousness (mind), substance and energy. The Universe and everything in it comes from this one Source.

Creation is the action of Intelligence upon Itself.  God creates by contemplation.  Since we are from this only Source of everything, we too must "create" by contemplation.  Hence the secret to changing the reality we are currently experiencing is to change our thought.

Truly, it is as simple as that.  Simple yet it requires varying degrees of effort.  How do we change our thought so we can change our reality?

Spiritual Awakening

This blog seeks to discover the  Truth which frees us from ourselves and sets us on the pathway of a new experience.   Truth  enables us to see through the mist to the Eternal and Changeless Reality.

Where Do We Find Truth?

It's simple.  Truth is found in our innermost being and must be found for ourselves.  Others may lead us and point the way. But we must do our own finding.

The Universe is abundant, alive, powerful and beautiful, yet we are weak, poor and afraid.  Why?  Because we do not know the Truth about ourselves.  Then let us find it.
